Items for soldiers

Terre Haute, IN (November, 2008) In celebration of Veteran’s Day, Terre Haute Regional Hospital is teaming with John and Connie Conway in their efforts to provide items to our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. The drive will be on Thursday, November 6 in Regional Hospital’s Southside Café from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
The Conways have been sending items to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan to show support for the soldiers for over 4 years. Personal Item and Snack Item donations are suggested.
Chris Hill, CEO of Terre Haute Regional Hospital and a retired Army Lt. Colonel will be available to talk to about the importance of receiving items from home when deployed.
Connie Conway has photos and correspondence from hundreds of soldiers for display.
