Terre Haute Regional Hospital Earns an “A” in Patient Safety by Hospital Safety Score

Terre Haute Regional Hospital was recognized with an “A” Hospital Safety Score by The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit run by employers and other large purchasers of health benefits. The A score was awarded in the latest update to the Hospital Safety ScoreSM, the A, B, C, D or F scores assigned to U.S. hospitals based on preventable medical errors, injuries accidents, and infections.

HCA Organizes Relief Effort for Haiti

The impact of the tragic earthquake in Haiti is still unfolding as relief organizations work to meet the immediate and longer term needs of hundreds of thousands of Haitians. In response, HCA has committed $1 million in cash and in-kind donations for direct relief to the stricken area. Cash donations will go to the Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders.
