Dr. Thomas Rea

Terre Haute, IN (November, 2008) Terre Haute Regional Hospital would like to congratulate Thomas E. Rea who earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Indiana State University in August, 2008.
Dr. Rea has been employed at Terre Haute Regional Hospital since August, 2007. He had previously worked at the hospital from 1997 until 2002 in admitting and the Mehta Behavioral Unit.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Indiana State University in 2001. During his training, Dr. Rea had the opportunity to work in a variety of mental health settings, including both private practice and community based. He completed his doctoral internship at the VA Illiana Healthcare System in Danville, Illinois in August, 2007.
Dr. Rea admits that reaching this goal has taken a lot of “time and energy” but that it has been worth it. He said he is “very pleased to be back at Terre Haute Regional Hospital” and is finding his work rewarding.
Dr. Rea and his wife, Christina, reside in Brazil with their daughter, Kennedy. He is originally from Clay City. Besides spending time with his family, he also enjoys watching college sports, especially Notre Dame football, and fishing.
